Our Founder Min. Soundra R. Simpson

soundrasimpson Rev. Dr. Soundra R. Simpson, commonly known as “Min. Soundra” is a native of Bennettsville, South Carolina. She is honored and blessed to have been birthed in a Leviticus family lineage (The Sinkler Family) that include apostles, prophets, pastors, teachers, evangelists, elders, deacons, church planters and professional gospel singers. In addition to her parents, Min. Soundra’s life and desire to serve God was greatly influenced by her childhood pastor, Rev. Dr. I. D. Hodge of Word of Life Christian Center Ministries in Bennettsville.

Min. Soundra graduated from Johnson C. Smith University in 1987, where she earned a B.A. Degree in Communication Arts. In May 2005, she graduated from More Than Conquerors Bible College where she earned an Associate Degree in Christian Ministry. In August 2011, Min. Soundra earned a Masters Degree in Christian Education from Pfeiffer University. Out of love for the gospel of Jesus Christ, she also holds a Ph.D. in Christian Ministry from More Than Conquerors Bible College under the leadership of Pastor Robin Gool of Victory Christian Center Ministries. Min. Soundra considers herself to be a life-long student with aspirations of becoming a college bible teacher and motivational author.

Min. Soundra has been employed with the same company within the financial services industry for approximately 25 years. She currently works in Human Resources as an Employee Relations Consultant and is a Vice President. She proudly serves as a mentor and spiritual mother to many young women within her ministry, the marketplace, and her local community. Her desire is to see souls saved, healed, delivered and set-free in Jesus Christ. Her assignment in this season is to help develop and equip the people of God to live their best lives which is accomplished through monthly services, women conferences and workshops for girls, college students and young business professionals. Further, Min. Soundra’s calling is to teach the people of God how to live an overcoming life by having a relationship first with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

On October 15, 2005 and by the leading of the Holy Spirit, Min. Soundra along with her sister, Audrey Walls, niece, Brianna and nephew, Christopher founded Paths Crossed Network Ministries in Charlotte. Without church members, the strength of Paths Crossed is built upon those who volunteer their time, talents and resources. Her foundational Scripture is Matthew 6:33, “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and its righteousness and all these things will be added unto you.” Min. Soundra was ordained by Rev. Dr. I.D. Hodge, overseer of the Word of Life Christian Center Ministries. She is single and resides in Charlotte.
