The Power of Your Words

A few days ago while enjoying lunch with a good friend; she began to talk about her personal hardships. In doing so, she described her current state as being one of lack and struggle. With tears rolling down her face, I grabbed her hands and began to share that God’s Word says, “Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit.” Proverbs 18:21. As Christians, we must know that when we say what God has already said, our words have the power to change everything about our lives. Starting today, begin to decree and to declare the Word of God over your family, marriage, finances and health. The Word of God is packed with wonderful Scriptures that address every imaginable situation that we are facing. More importantly, we do not go by what we see, we govern our lives based upon what God has spoken! Go ahead, open your mouth and speak the Word of God by faith and watch the manifestation of God’s Word come alive in your life.
